The City of Farmington is about 20 miles northwest of Detroit in Oakland County. Farmington is small community nestled within Farmington Hills.

One of the area’s focal points is the Farmington Civic, an art deco historic movie theater that still operates with two screens showing movies daily. The Farmington Pavilion is a favorite hot spot featuring concerts, farmers markets, and festivals.
